SKIN TAG/DPN REMOVAL
Opis usługi
Skin Tag & Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra (DPN) Removal Skin tags and Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra (DPN) are common benign skin growths that can occur on areas such as the neck, face, underarms and body. Although they are generally harmless, they can sometimes become a cosmetic concern or catch on clothing and jewellery. Our treatment provides targeted removal of suitable skin tags and DPN lesions, helping to create a smoother, more even appearance of the skin. Skin Tags Skin tags (acrochordons) are soft, benign growths that commonly develop in areas where there is friction, including the neck, underarms and beneath the breasts. They can vary in size and may be flesh-coloured or slightly darker. Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra (DPN) DPN presents as multiple small, dark or brown, raised papules, most commonly appearing on the face and neck. They are benign and non-contagious but may be removed for cosmetic reasons. Treatment Benefits * Targeted removal of suitable lesions * Helps improve the smoothness and appearance of the skin * Suitable for selected areas of the face and body * Can address multiple small lesions during a treatment session, depending on assessment * Minimal disruption to surrounding skin when appropriately performed Treatment & Aftercare Each client will receive an individual assessment before treatment to determine whether the lesion is suitable for removal. The treatment method will depend on the type, size, location and characteristics of the lesion. Following treatment, temporary redness, sensitivity, crusting or pigmentation changes may occur as the skin heals. Detailed aftercare advice will be provided to support optimal healing and minimise the risk of complications. **Important:** Not every skin growth is suitable for cosmetic removal. Any lesion that appears unusual, changes in appearance, bleeds, becomes painful or has not been previously assessed should be reviewed by an appropriate medical professional before cosmetic treatment.
